My team designed a body of work which is comprised of sustainable GAA training gear incorporating a dynamic print to give a distinctly Irish identity for our products. The graphics derives from an analysation of celtic symbols and illustrations from the Book of Kells.
Various different styles of the training gear that we decided on. We wanted to keep the iconic 3 stripes of Adidas to be one of the strong design aspects, along with a celtic take somewhere along the line.

Collection of the Adidas 3 stripes combined with the GAA logo. My idea was to integrate this into the GAA training gear we were creating as I felt it worked really well, but the Adidas team advised they would never edit their original logo, so it wasn't continued.
Final Collection of GAA training gear with the celtic symbol textile design. We put together a survey where we asked what colours people would like and majority said neutrals/ blacks and greys for training attire.
